Scotian Shores

We’re a local business dedicated to cleaning the shorelines of Nova Scotia. For every purchase of our locally made jewelry & art products, we send our team to remove one pound of trash from our Nova Scotia shorelines.

What began as our family’s dream has grown into a team of volunteers and local contributors making sure that your purchase of our beautiful jewelry and art products goes that little bit further in giving back.

Check out our online store to see our most current locally made jewelry & art.

And connect with us there, if you share our passion for making our beautiful Nova Scotia Shorelines cleaner and safer, and want to get involved!

Scotian Shores Bracelets

Each of our bracelets is unique, featuring a handpicked piece of Nova Scotian sea glass. We carefully craft our bracelets using stone beads, semi-precious stone beads, recycled glass beads, and stretchy cord.

For every bracelet sold, you’re helping to remove one pound of garbage from the shorelines of Nova Scotia – and we also donate $2 from every purchase to other environmental and ocean loving groups.

Rope Rescues

Made by local artist Bev Richard – from old wooden lobster traps and rope that is found on the shorelines of Nova Scotia.

For every Rope Rescue sold through Scotian Shores we guarantee that one pound of shoreline debris will be removed by our team and we will donate $2 to another local environmental or ocean loving group.

Always unique and available in a variety of colour pallets.

Check out our online store to connect with Bev’s most current pieces.

Volunteer

What started as a family dream of making the shorelines of Nova Scotia safer & cleaner, has grown into a dedicated team of Volunteers that helps us clean up one pound of trash for every Scotian Shores purchase made. And for this we are very grateful.

But there’s still a whole lot of Nova Scotia shoreline to clean up and beautiful products to be made. So, if you share our passion and would like to volunteer, please reach out and let us know. We’d love to have you join us. Our Shorelines, and future generations, will thank you!
